Relation
Skills that are important in the contact with others, are also necessary for global citizenship.
These are skills such as change of perspective, dealing with differences, stand up for each other and show empathy. Teachers encourage the development of these skills through example:
- children in varying groups to work together
- children different roles, for example helper, tutor, mediator, President
- encouraging children to love and sorrow to share
- responsibility to bear children together (for example the stuff in the classroom) and to take decisions together (for example how the group tackles a task).
