The book shows how teachers inside and outside the classroom can work on global citizenship. The writers were inspired by the practice, especially in the Willem Alexander School in Rotterdam, primary Oscar Carré in Amsterdam and Pyramid Freinet school in Heerlen. Furthermore, they consulted the attainment targets for primary schools, practitioners and the vision document and the canon of world citizenship of the NCDO.
