Eight themes
Teachers who work on global citizenship, able to select activities using the eight themes of the canon for global citizenship.
The canon for global citizenship distinguishes the following eight themes:
- Identity
- Diversity
- Globalization
- Durability
- Distribution
- Human Rights
- Global involvement
- Peace and conflict
These themes can give direction to the work on global citizenship in the classroom.
